Many people are in need of or have an interest in renewal as an individual or through small groups.  We offer this type of spiritual renewal in several forms. Contact us for more information.

Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is an ancient practice among the spiritual disciplines.  It is a voluntary relationship between persons who seek to grow in the Christian life and a person who "companions" with them on their growth journey.  The focus of spiritual direction is on the relationship with God.  It is not a psychological counseling session.  In essence it is a ministry of Christian companionship.  The premise is that the Holy Spirit is really the director.  The trained spiritual director helps persons of faith focus their ongoing relationship with God and explore their prayer journey. 

Spiritual direction assists persons of faith to make sure their personal relationship with God is of primary importance and that this relationship helps us relate and be faithful to each other as part of a community of faith.

Fees are $35-$50/hour depending on your own situation.  If you do not live in Albuquerque this can be done over the phone.  The participant is responsible for the phone charges. 

Directed Retreats
An opportunity to have an individual retreat with spiritual direction from one of our core faculty.  We will help you arrange housing at a local retreat center (in Albuquerque) and then we will work with you for a few hours a day (1-3 hours) giving spiritual guidance.  The rest of day you will spend in prayer and reading. (Albuquerque only)  The fee is $50/day plus room and board.

Clergy Listening Hours
We understand that many times clergy just need someone to listen to them who are not connected to their church or denomination.  We are available to do this on a one time or on-going basis. The fee is $35-$50 per hour depending on your situation.  This can be done over the phone if you live outside of Albuquerque;  you are responsible for the phone charges. 

Spiritual Formation through Small Groups
A group that meets for 2 hours a week for 6-18 weeks and explores a topic relating to spiritual formation.  We will occasionally sponsor such groups or you may contact us to lead a group for you.  (Albuquerque/Santa Fe or Kansas City)

Clergy Small Group Renewal
We know that often clergy would like to meet with other clergy (denominationally or ecumenically) for discussion and personal renewal.  These groups not only help with pastoral renewal but also aid in forming friendships which are essential to any pastor. We will occasionally sponsor such groups or you may contact us to lead a group for you.   (Albuquerque/Santa Fe or Kansas City)
